Who we are
SnoutHub Shop is an independent dog shop operating from Osage Beach, Missouri, United States. These Terms of Service govern your use of shop.snouthub.com and any purchase you make from us. By using this store you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the store.
We reserve the right to update these terms. The version published on this page is the version that applies.
Using this store
You must be at least the age of majority in your state or province to buy from us, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
You agree not to use this store for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to interfere with its operation, or to scrape, copy or resell its content without our written permission.
Accounts
If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
Products, descriptions and pricing
We try very hard to describe our products accurately, including materials, sizes and safety information. Colours can look different from screen to screen, and handmade or natural items vary a little from piece to piece. That variation is not a defect.
All prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. Tax is calculated at checkout where applicable.
Prices and product availability can change without notice. Occasionally a product is listed with an incorrect price or description because of a human or system error. If that happens, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after the order is confirmed. We will always email you when we do.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges we received it, but the contract is formed when we dispatch the order.
We may refuse or cancel any order, including where an item is out of stock, where a pricing error has occurred, where an order appears fraudulent, or where an order looks like it is for resale. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's payment processing. We do not store your full card details. By placing an order you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method you have entered.
Shipping, returns and refunds
Shipping and delivery are covered by our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.
Product safety and how you use what you buy
This one matters more than the rest, so please read it.
- Supervise your dog with any toy, chew or treat. No toy is indestructible and no chew is right for every dog. Check items regularly and throw away anything that is coming apart.
- Choose the size and strength appropriate to your dog. If you are unsure, ask us before you buy.
- Nothing we sell or write is veterinary advice. Product descriptions, guides, blog posts and anything we say by email are general information from dog people, not from a vet. Talk to your veterinarian about your dog's health, diet, allergies and any supplement or treat you are unsure about.
- Check the ingredients on any edible item against your dog's known allergies before you feed it.
You are responsible for using our products safely and appropriately for your own dog.
Intellectual property
The SnoutHub name, logo, photography, product copy and site content belong to us or to the brands we stock, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reuse them commercially without our written permission. Sharing a link or a product photo on social media because you love it is welcome and always has been.
Reviews and anything you post
If you submit a review, comment, photo or any other content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and share it in connection with the shop. You confirm the content is yours to give and is not unlawful, abusive or misleading. We may remove content at our discretion, and we are not obliged to publish anything.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to rescues, makers, partners and other third-party sites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices.
Disclaimer of warranties
The store and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the store will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Nothing here excludes any manufacturer warranty that comes with a product, or any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnoutHub Shop and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the store or our products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnoutHub Shop and its owner from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the store.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, unless the law of your home state or province gives you the right to bring it locally.
Severability and entire agreement
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us.
